¿Usando una bandera? / Wearing a flag?

Yup, as saw in the title the theme for this post will be wearing a flag, of the team you go for in this world cup or the one you like the most, in my personal case: England, Germany and Spain. My country (Venezuela) didn't classify and honestly I lost the hopes for them to make it. So I support this three titans of the football, the ones who had demonstrated skill, passion and very particular techniques to accomplish the same, a goal or many more to have the victory.

I want to start first with England, their love for football is as epic as the history behind it, being the cradle of football soccer as we know it and its brother, the rugby, England has produced and seen grow the best soccer players in the world, among the natives like Beckham, Rooney, Owen and some foreigns guys playing for their clubs, like the Manchester United (C. Ronaldo and some others that I don't recall right now, sorry). It is represented by the St. George's Cross, being protected by him until the end of every game.

Of course, as any other team it has its weakest link, in my personal opinion the lack of good goalkeepers and more aggressive strikers. But enough with the technical part, as I said before, their flag is a St. George's Cross and fortunately it brings beautiful colors for a world-wide-winner outfit.

Second runner up (hehe) is Germany, with an aggressive football, the type of football I grew up with, seeing my cousins and friends playing. The only (and huge) flaw in Germany's technique is the poor defense, because they are so into being aggressive that if they have a chance to loose the ball, the match will go to the trash.

But this isn't only about football, but also about what we can do with the colors in their flag. The outfit I made looks a little Gossip-Girl-esque, not that I mind because I love that show, but I don't know how people in general might take it.

Last but not least, Spain, its food, its boys, its wines, its boys, its football, its boys! Sorry, my boyfriend is Spanish so there's nothing to discuss about. The grace and elegance of the eleventh chosen guys in the field is as versatile and beautiful as the culture and flamenco music in their country. Vibrant colors that fulfill the eyes with joy and enthusiasm, make the Spanish flag not only a symbol of its variety but also brings a great palette for a sexy outfit.

I just remember that I have Spanish blood in my veins too, thanks to my Grandpa (mother's side)... so Go Spain!!! Come on, take the risk and do an outfit with your country's colors or maybe the country you like the most, it'll be fun and it might be a great conversation topic on a date...
